dois は動詞で「〜しなければならない」です。
英語におけmust とかhave to の役割をしているのが分かります。

prendre は動詞の不定詞で、英語のtake にあたります。

英語の助動詞のような役割をする動詞の後ろに動詞をとる場合は、不定詞をとるようですね。

英語でcan とかmust の後ろに不定詞が来るのと同じことだと考えると分かりやすいですね。

そのほかの対応関係も、完全に一致しています。
